Born in Rimini in 1974, I was addicted to swimming from the age of 6, then biking and running. From this point, passing to triathlon was just a baby step. More than 10 ironman races completed and many 70 distances in which I qualified 3 times for the world championship but never forgot my love for the mountains. When I was a boy I crossed part of the alps solo and thanks to my love for sport and discovery, trail running was the natural consequence. Many races from 2006, UTMB included. My real passion was racing in the desert, and in one occasion I met with the great runner and explorer Ray Zahab. From here a big friendship was born and we ran many expedition in the most remote parts of the world, learning from people we met in our journey and sharing this with thousands of students who follow us thanks to the project impossible2possible.
