JENNY TOUGH |
Jenny Tough is an adventure traveller and endurance challenger, she specialises in fast and light expeditions and has vast experiences on all continents in running, trekking, cycling, skiing, paddling, and sailing. Currently living in Edinburgh she can be mostly found bikepacking around Scotland and abroad, or fastpacking (running very long distances with a heavy backpack) across mountains. She was the first person to run solo and unsupported across The Tien Shan mountains in Kyrgyzstan, and the Atlas Mountains in northern Africa, on her mission to run across a mountain range on every continent. This year (2020) she will be undertaking her fifth mountain range, the Caucasus mountains in Europe, out of the seven continents.
"My passion is in human-powered endurance challenges, and exploring this beautiful planet, but particularly in mountains. Through my adventures, I am always pushing my limits and finding them, and I enjoy sharing my stories and encouraging others to explore their own limits, love the natural world, and protect our wild places." |

"Type 2 fun is an experience that’s anything but enjoyable whilst you’re actively doing it. It’s the type of activity you curse while you endure it, probably saying you’ll never do it again, yet weirdly can’t wait to repeat it the moment you’ve finished" |
