Montane Mountain Squall Cap

This cap is brilliant. Arrived in time to be tested in storm Ciara on North Wales coast . It’s very lightweight, cosy fit and warm. Ear flaps are long enough and the chip strap meant it stayed in place. Highly recommend.

Ordered on the Friday, arrived on the Saturday so big thumbs-up for delivery for a start. Was able to test it out on the Monday in what MWIS described as arduous/severe buffeting on a Cairngorms Munro....I can only say its brilliant. So warm, obviously windproof, being gtx, but also light and easily packable. Peak is modest, but effective and doesn't flap about in the 'breeze'. Ear flaps are functionally long enough and I didn't need the tie cord because the fit is so good. Elasticated volume adjustment gives a tailored fit. Also the hat comes in various sizes so I was able to get one to actually get on my head in the first place! All round great buy. I can see it getting a lot of use.
