ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Social Media Community Manager, you will define and drive the social content strategy for the Montane brand. You will be responsible for planning, curating, and delivering content across all social channels working alongside the marketing and ecommerce teams to support the brand and D2C strategy.

ABOUT YOU:

You live and breathe social media and have a deep understanding of the channels and their inner workings. You are a natural copywriter with excellent spelling, grammar and a creative flair. You understand brand voice and have an eye for detail with the ability to adapt and position content appropriate for the channel and message. You are curious, enjoy experimenting and analysing data. You know how to drive a funnel marketing campaign and have knowledge of what content works for each channel. You are a strong communicator, work well in a team and have the ability to negotiate. You are highly organised, have a keen eye for detail, and use data to make decisions. Two to three years’ experience in a similar role and an interest in outdoor activity is desirable.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Coordinate and drive all brand social media channels - Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, LinkedIn, Twitter.
  • Utilise strong copywriting skills to construct and deliver engaging social content.
  • Schedule all content, providing visibility for internal stakeholders and international partners.
  • Responsibility for delivering social activity aligned with the digital calendar; capturing campaign, event and commercial activity.
  • Analyse and interpret traffic and trends to aid decisions. Building awareness and interest in social media trends, digital publishing, online video and outdoors output internationally.
  • Utilise social listening tools to build upon and inform social trend analysis.
  • Increase digital audience and engagement through organic and paid activity, driven by growth KPIs and goals.
  • Brief content requirements internally and to external agencies.
  • Manage the social budget and campaign delivery.
